We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Children's & Young Person's Advocate to join our Advocacy Team at Empowerment. This is an opportunity to support children and young people to have their voices heard and ensure their views are at the centre of decisions that affect their lives.

As an advocate, you'll work with children and young people in care, care leavers, those involved in child protection processes, and young people accessing health and social care services. You'll help them understand their rights, build their confidence, and make sure their wishes and feelings are represented.

You'll be someone who:

  • Has experience working directly with children and young people.

  • Is passionate about children's rights and making a difference.

  • Can build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with young people from a range of backgrounds.

  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and advocacy.

  • Is organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Shares our values of kindness, respect, equality, and inclusion.
