We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Volunteer Co-ordinator to help recruit, support and develop our volunteers. This role is ideal for someone with relevant personal lived experience who is in a stable place in their own recovery and feels able to use their experiences constructively to encourage and support others on their journey.

As our Volunteer Co-ordinator, you'll help create a welcoming and inclusive volunteering environment, build positive relationships, and ensure our volunteers feel valued, supported and equipped to make a meaningful impact.

Role Purpose:

  • To recruit, support and develop a small team of Lived Experience Volunteers to participate in volunteer opportunities in the Blackpool Lived Experience Team and Blackpool Recovery Hub.

  • Support the Coproduction Lead in delivering the Volunteer accredited training package.

  • To ensure that the wellbeing and ongoing recovery of each volunteer is prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a cohort of up to 10 volunteers.

  • Ensure a mix of volunteering hours are available throughout the working week

  • Ensure all volunteers have Personal Development Plans.
